Birth announcement

Birth announcements are cards delivered by the parents of a newborn to grandparents, uncles, cousins, best friends and all those people close to the family, in order not only to communicate the birth of the new family member, but also to remember, in a very special way, the date and other details of this memorable event.

Typically these cards include only basic information such as the baby's name, birth date, weight, size, and the name of the parents. However, there are parents who also choose to include a poem or a phrase made by them, adding to the card a sentimental value and making it in a unique piece.

The sending of these cards is usually done immediately after the arrival of the new family member, so it’s recommended to choose the desired model in advance. So after the baby is born, the parents only have to inform the data and send the photo(s) (in the case of card include some).

In some cases, there are parents who prefer to wait some time before the sending of these cards, but it can’t exceed 6 months after the baby is born. Otherwise, you’re not following the etiquette rules.
