Wedding Invitation "Frame of Love"

Thinking about the oncoming wedding season, today I present you my new wedding invitation, Frame of love, now available on Minted.

Frame of love is a foil-pressed wedding invitation that features a border inspired on Madeira embroidery.

Ana de Sousa invitations in the Máxima magazine

And to begin the year, I’m proud to present you great news: Ana de Sousa─ Design & Illustration was invited by the magazine Máxima, elected the best women's magazine in Portugal, to be part of its supplement of Weddings for the month of February, contributing with one of my wedding invitations, as you can see in the following images:

Also, I want to inform that this will be a year filled of new projects, so I'll be a bit constrained in terms of time to write to you on a regular basis. But I promise you that, whenever is possible, I'll keep you informed.

"Introduced by the angels" and "Oh Come All Ye Faithful Award"

And to conclude the presentation of the Christmas collection, today I present you my design Introduced by the angels.

Introduced by the angels is a design inspired on Joy to the World carol. The illustration consists of three angels announcing the birth of Jesus through the touch of trumpets. This illustration took part in the Winter Wonderland Holiday Card Challenge, and was chosen as the Best Religious Christmas card, receiving Oh Come All Ye Faithful Award, as you can see here

Snow time

Holiday Flowers

An alternative to the traditional Christmas cards are the postcards, and thinking about it today I show you my postcard Holiday Flowers.

Holiday Flowers is an illustrated postcard that features a handmade lettering which says "Happy Holidays" and traditional flowers of the season, as poinsettias and Christmas roses (also known as snow flower).

Retro Christmas Ornament

And already thinking about Christmas, today I show you my illustration Retro christmas ornament.

It’s an illustration based on a Christmas ornament whose style and textures recall the retro features from 50's and 60's illustrations, giving it a unique and special touch.

For this design, you can choose between two greetings (“Merry Christmas" or "Love & Joy"), as well as 4 different forms and 3 different colors.
